Excellent Accommodation
I purchased the Kodiak Truck Tent specifically for archery hunting using my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 6.5 bed. The initial use will be in the fall to early winter. Kept the stock bed liner, picked up a Bed rug bed mat and tailgate mat, slumber jack xl cot, Mr. Heater Buddy and a small table. The Kodiak Truck Tent fit to perfection. Took about 30 minutes to setup initially but know that I know how, it should be quicker. This is a super cozy tent with all of the bells and whistles. Plenty of widows with screens and it is the type of fabric that will hold in warmth, if needed, and keep outsiders from seeing every move you make by not showing a shadow. I used a power washer to wet it down per instructions for the first time, not a drop of water internally. I will be spending the next 2-3 weeks sleeping in my Kodiak and I feel like a little kid again! The interior is extremely roomy with plenty of space for my needs. Would hold two campers with ease. The only unreasonable desire I would have is to be able to drive to the store, with the tent up, if needed!

Just got back from our 1st trip out by the mountains. We were hit by a major thunderstorm, winds and rain 2 inches in less than an hr. and the tent did not even hiccup. We were so impressed with it that all four people who approached us during our trip were so impressed with the looks and QUALITY I gave them Competitive Edges web site. This tent is worth every penny and am looking forward to many future trips. Nylon box tent not out here in our neck of the woods. Thanks Competitive Edge and thanks Kodiak for a quality product. Buy it folks you wont be sorry. Yes set it up before going out to know how it wasn''t bad by myself half hr.

Pretty sweet. I have a dodge Dakota when the tent showed up it said full size trucks I do not have a full size truck. The metal support ribs are 8 in. wider than my truck bed, but I cut so half in. plywood and attached it to my bed then put the metal rails on the plywood. Now I have a shelf on the inside on both sides. Very much full of quality. thank you

Excellent product
Bottom line:Your tent product is awesome, easy set up and take down. Many other hunters were in awe of your product on cargo area of my GMC Denali 2500. Last hunting trip nightly temperature ranges were 32 to 40 degrees and your tent performed perfect! Good price, excellent service, and excellent product!

Q: Does this protect from outside elements as much as a regular tent does?
Asked by: Maddie - 8/20/2015
A: Yes, this is just like the other canvas tents that will protect you from the elements. It is water treated in the same way that all of our other canvas tents are treated.

Q: i have a 2014 Ford F150, 6.5bed with the step tailgate. would really be nice to use the step rather than bring a stool with, to crawl in the tent. are there provisions for the step tailgate on the Fords, or what could a person do to make using this step possible? How far under tailgate does the tent go?
